R600 Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 Firstly, it depends on how far your machine is from the CS server.Secondly, it depends on who is sharing your connection/contention ratio of the ISP. And thirdly, it depends on the CS server itself.Other cs players can cause your ping to go up. Not sure if you've seen some players asking for admin (in the game) to kick people with high pings.
