Stix Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 I have the same problem , and yes , I have applied the patched uxtheme.dll and it's installed properly as I can select the theme manually once setup is finished.Any ideas ?
Marztabator Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 Do you have to patch UXTheme.dll if you want to use a modified theme based off Windows Classic???
Aaron Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 You have to patch uxtheme.dll when you want to use a visual style that isn't included with Windows XP.
Marztabator Posted August 15, 2003 Posted August 15, 2003 Hey, that reminds me of a question I feel like asking.... does Plus! XP install a modified UXTheme.dll for the extra themes it provides?
TB_205 Posted August 18, 2003 Author Posted August 18, 2003 You have to patch uxtheme.dll when you want to use a visual style that isn't included with Windows XP.Yes I know about that. uxtheme.dll is patched up! This is done from my install .bat file? Perhaps I have to include the hacked file in the right cab file on the install cd?
