Featured Replies

Before I can shutdown or reboot my Windows 98 I get

this fu*king "Wait-End Task-Cancel" dialog which hangs my system.

What I noticed is that the title of the windows is called "DDE Server Window".

Can somebody help me to find the answer to this problem, please?

Yes, the Dsclient.exe update.

I made some research and found out that this "DDE Server Window" message maybe comes from ole32.dll.

If it has to do with this file maybe I just have a corrupt file.

It looks similiar like this:

--------------------------------------

DDE Server Window

This program is not responding. It may be busy, waiting for a response from

you or it may have stopped running

· click Cancel to ignore and return to windows

· to close the program immediately, click End Task.. You will loose any

unsaved information in this program

· to give the programe 20 seconds to finish what it is doing click Wait and

then try to close the program

Wait End Task

Cancel
