Outlook then offers to open the default systems folder instead. all of the other programs, Excel, Word,etc seem to work normally.how do i solve this problemDoes Office xp Pro run on win xp home os? Esquire Posted July 31, 2006 Share Posted July 31, 2006 (edited) Yes, Office XP and OL 2002 will run in Windows XP Home Edition as well as in Professional.Run the Mail icon in Control Panel, then click on the Data Files button, do you see a file called Outlook.pst as the default Personal Folders?
