July 27, 200620 yr Maybe I am offtopic, sorry about that:make a 16 colors picture and place it into the \Windows folder and name it boot.bmp.Edit the boot.ini in the root folder. Place this part to the end of the line which contain the operating system name (Microsoft Windows XP Professional...):/bootlogo /noguiboot...or you can make it unattendedly:bootcfg /raw /id 1 "/bootlogo /noguibootRestart and you'll see!Joc(Sorry about my poor english! )

July 28, 200620 yr Author Check the boot.ini file, try to make modification by own hand. This is my boot.ini line:multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /noexecute=alwaysoff /nopae /fastdetect /bootlogo /noguiboot...and my boot.bmp filesize is 153,718 bytes!
