Hopefully, this is the right place to post this topic...

I was just wondering which one to use. The last nLite disc I made I used both of them, but I'm starting to think that that is not really necessary. It seems to me that RyanVM is more feature packed, but if someone could please fill me in on which one to use or not to use, that would be great.

Thanks a million!

Bug

By the way, I am installing WinXP Home (again).

Id say go with Ryans

Its a pesonal decision, it has Flash, DirectX updates and other good stuff and he removed WGA and created a seperate addon for it so you have the choice.

BTW dont forget to update Mplayer 9 to 10 (if you havent removed it using nLite)

Thanks for your reply. I was leaning towards RVM, anyway. I don't think I am actually going to remove any components this time. I just want to use some of the addOns that I have come across.

I freaked up my system trying to install Fedora Core 4 and used Partition Magic to add some free space (for boot loader or whatever) BEFORE the C drive and next thing you know the dang thing won't boot! I have to learn Linux for my Computer Networking degree and was just trying to get a leg up. Oh Well. Apparently I can't install FC4 on my PC anyway, its a Gateway, although it will install fine when I use an old 8gig AT style HDD hooked up to my wife's Emachine! Go figure!

Thanks again for the reply!
