Problem with connection

Featured Replies

Problem:

My connection status says, that I am connected, but half time I can only sent packets and I can't recive anything (just a few, 1-10 recived packets). I am connected by router. Other computers connected by router si ok, just my isn't! My TPC/IP configuration is all time ok. Clicking on repair button does't notice any error.

PLEASE HELP ME!!

Are your TCP/IP settings the same as the other computers that are connected to the router? Are they all set to automatically get an IP? How many client computers are there?

Have you rebooted lately?

Please ensure that your network cable is attached securely at both ends, and you might try swapping cables as well in case of a short or break.

The TPC/IP number is the same, just last IP number is diferent. I tried both, automatically and manual, it is the same. There are 3 client computers.

No, I not reboot lately.

My network cable is fine, it isn't damage!

I was trying to say that it sounds like you have done lots of tinkering and that a fresh start might do you some good.

Unplug your router for 15 seconds, plub it back in, then reboot the machine. You'd be surprised how often something this simple can fix things.
