Which type of forum

I was wondering with which type of forum MSFN was made...

Is it vBulletin, IPB, or an other one ?

And which version is it ?

IPB 2.1.6 or higher.

If their is a update or upgrade then it is usally done the same day it is released

How do you know that? Is it because you recognize the template or something else.

I ask that because I am about to buy a vB forum but I find this one pretty.

I have used this in the past, it is pretty good, only thing about this board is the cost involved.

We use Invision Power Board version 2.1.7 I didnt use vB that much but I find IPB way easier to setup/upgrade/maintain

To be honnest, I think I prefer IPB's look, but I think I'd rather use vB's ACP

You are right about the ACP from vB, but they have been around much longer and they still don't look good, on the other side IPB is quite "new" looks good and has a lot of functionality, thats why i prefer it But lucky we that we are all humans.... otherwise we would have chosen the same things all the way
