Choons
Hopefully someone can help me out on this problem.Whenever I install the new streamlined version of XP Home with SP2, on setup I get the "USBECHI.SYS is corrupted " prompt. And that is far as I can go!I know it is to do with a Chipset driver, which is ok on my machine. I've reinstalled the updated driver. Reburnt the XPlite copy of my XP HOME with SP2 on about 3 or 4 occasions.I know this is a common problem with a minority, but have not seen any answers to a fix.Can anyone shine any light on the mater please. I don't want to give up on Nlite just yet!!!Thanks
ZcWorld
have you try that windows install you make without the chipset drivers to make sure its thats is the problemif not give that a goif so than EEK the way i would install the chipset drivers would be using the runonce when windows boots up for the frist time to install them or something like that but thats would be me** tip ** use a cd-rw there's is nothing like wasting a good blank CD on a test install OS burn
