at time when am having booting trouble with my machine, i sometime keep on pressing the space bar while booting to give me a "profile" choise which i choose and can boot properly.

what i really want to do since i hav multiple OS on my system, is to add that "profile" & xp console feature to the list.....

can anyone help or know how to?

If I understand you correctly, you need to

1) create a hardware profile. Google for

create hardware profile xp

2) install the recovery console locally http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307654/

Since this qu is in the unattended forum, presumably you're after an unattended method of doing what you want?
