MarkCoolio Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Hi..I just wanted to make a real (no VMware) install these days with nLite 1.0 Final. With 0.99.7 I used a couple of drivers and pointed to them through winnt.sif and "OemPnPDriversPath" option(I did not integrate them through nLite, only one exception is Promise Ata133 Textmode driver). This worked for all drivers I had used without having to remove for example display and printer drivers from within nLite. All of them installed through PnP detection in setup. But I discovered the following problem with nLite 1.0:I used some newer driver versions (for example nvidia 84.21) and exactly the same promise ata133 and kyocera 680 printer driver as used before. However all of them did not install anymore with just the same method as used above in nLite 0.99.7.Anyone has a clue why?I have attached my winnt.sif which I have never changed between the versions and "Last Session.ini" from both 0.99.7 and 1.0.And here u can find the 3 mentioned drivers.. maybe someone can test them:Download DriversI really hope that someone can give me an answer.. something must have changed between the versions. My apps and everything else is just fine. Only thing is drivers Thanks a lot!Markuswinnt.sifLast_Session__0.99.7_.iniLast_Session__1.0_Final_.ini
nuhi Posted July 10, 2006 Posted July 10, 2006 Sorry but this is more of a Windows question that it is nlite.Nlite can't ruin your oemdriver integration, but your massive changes can, this isn't nlite modified any more.Currently I have no time to review it in details but if someone can please do help the man.
