Hi!

I wanna get your input on a good piece of software that will perform benchmarking on server hardware! I have not been able to find something that actually benchmarks the hardware for a server (not to good at googling I guess) while there are millions of softwares that perform 3Dfx checks and web server meassurements....

Anyone stumbled onto something like this? or any software that u can recommend for this purpose?

I wanna meassure the following:

Computing capacity - CPU/RAM, Disk throughput & Network throughput

Of course, I dont want to buy a piece of software that is locked to the manufacturer of the hardware, as DELL or HP!

Everest and Sandra will do that, the free versions don’t have network options but you can buy the complete version for that.
