Upgrading to Vista from XP

Hi,

Do you think they'll be a cheaper option of buying Vista if I already own a copy of Windows XP, i.e. will there be an upgrade option? Or will I have to buy Vista at full-cost?

like XP there will most likely be an upgrade version of Vista, no plans have been made public yet though

Have the Beta 2 version of Vista and did a clean install after using "Wipe Disk"

Took 45 minutes plus to format and load.

NO Problems.

Did and install over a previous XP install and the thing freaked out.

(I installed Vista 64 over XP 32)

Not really impressed at the moment as a lot of things seem to be "hidden"

an difficult to find. Same with Office 2007.

You should NEVER upgrade a 32-bit install to 64-bit. You should ALWAYS do a clean install because of how the code is signifcantly different.
