ripken204 Posted June 27, 2006 Share Posted June 27, 2006 the new amd AM2 socket has a bunch of new features. one of them which i have seen some people talk about before. with the nforce5, you can assign both ethernet ports the same ip address. this can be used as redundancy if 1 port fails. but say that if you had 2 internet connections for some reason. you could hook both of them up and they will be combined.
