atomicrabbit Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Can someone please tell me if there is a way to silently install DivX Create bundle WITHOUT the divx player?I've heard that the /s switch doesn't work with 6.03 or something like that. I can use a lower version, I just want to be able to silently install WITHOUT certain components.Any ideas?
atomicrabbit Posted June 28, 2006 Author Posted June 28, 2006 did ou try /S/silentThe silent switch is not my big problem. I am more concerned with being able to select specific components to isntall. I do not like the DivX Player, so i don't want to install that component. Any ideas?

ajua Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 the divx setups are lame imho. why they didnt comply with all standard features in all script setup languages so it will be easier to make silent and/or to choose components to install.
atomicrabbit Posted July 1, 2006 Author Posted July 1, 2006 so I can't install it without certain components??Is there an alternative??
allen2 Posted July 1, 2006 Posted July 1, 2006 You can try to clone the install with tools like installrite.

atomicrabbit Posted July 5, 2006 Author Posted July 5, 2006 err how do I use an AutoIt script? Do I need an application? Sorry, never used AutoIt before...
rado354 Posted July 7, 2006 Posted July 7, 2006 http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?s=&...st&p=5272011. Write the script in SciTE2. Compile it.
