hyipo Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 (edited) I got a problem.I keep getting a missing file Error in Windows 2000 Adv. Server setup after trying to integrate hotfixes after Unofficial SP5.After I installed the Unofficial SP5 I tested it with Belarc and found out theres 8 missing patches:Windows2000-KB824151-x86-ENU.EXEWindows2000-KB911280-x86-ENU.EXEWindows2000-KB913580-x86-ENU.EXEWindows2000-KB914389-x86-ENU.EXEWindows2000-KB917344-x86-ENU.EXEWindows2000-KB917736-x86-ENU.EXEWindows2000-KB917953-x86-ENU.EXEIE6.0sp1-KB916281-Windows-2000-XP-x86-ENU.exeAfter simple non-nLite integration I keep wasting good, and I think expensive cds for no progress.I am tired of wasting cds that's why I wanted every security update to be on SP5. hyipo Posted June 27, 2006 Author Posted June 27, 2006 (edited) Another reason why I want all security updates in SP5 is because if I don't have them in a servicepack, or update rollup my Operating System will refuse to install (You know become all error like). It's like a bug Microsoft developed so we are all forced to buy XP. But XP Home doesn't have a server. The errors I have been getting areyou know missing file (Different ones so I can't give you the right description). How Can I install all the updates sucessfully without wasting cds. All this could be avoided if I just get those updates in SP5. Edited June 27, 2006 by hyipo
