In a "hypothetical situation," If someone was to download some zipped files from Bear Share and they right cliked them and "scan for virus" would that be an effective way to know if the zip file contains a virus? thank you!

Aaron Posted August 6, 2003 Posted August 6, 2003 Depends if your Antivirus software is able to scan inside compressed files. Norton Antivirus can scan 3 levels deep as default, and the limit is at 10.
