Greyed Condition not working in WPI 5.0.1

Featured Replies

Me again :wacko:

I have a greyed condition of:

WshShell.regRead("HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Corporate Screen Saver\DisplayName") == "Corporate Screen Saver"

If the software is already installed it greys out the selection as I would expect, but if the software isn't installed I get an error which I have attached.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong please

Thanks for the reply Lawrencea.

I did view that post befoe when I was using WPI Lite 1.2 and it didn't seem to work for me. I still got an error message.

I will give it a go in WPI 5.0.1 though. Could you posy a sample for Office 2003 with a cond and gcond so I know what I am doing please.

If you can make the gcond use the uninstall display version key that would be great. eg:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{90110409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9}\DisplayVersion == 11.0.7969.0

Thanks

Kev
