Fredledingue Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Out of curiosity, I checked with a dependency checker a few exe and it showed that all these dll were not found.netrap.dlldnsapi.dllnetui0.dllnetui1.dllw32topl.dllsamlib.dllauthz.dllntdsapi.dllntlanman.dllapphelp.dlluserenv.dllI downloaded them, put them in windows\system and the depency checker doesn't show any missing dll. Tought It still shows unavailable module or libraries. But do I realy need them in w98? And do I need to register them?
LLXX Posted June 21, 2006 Posted June 21, 2006 Here's what I found on my system:netrap.dll: not founddnsapi.dll: found it in my XP partition... I don't think 98se needs thisnetui0.dll: again, found it in the XP partition... not in 98se thoughnetui1.dll: see abovew32topl.dll: see abovesamlib.dll: see aboveauthz.dll: see aboventdsapi.dll: see aboventlanman.dll: see aboveapphelp.dll: see aboveuserenv.dll: see aboveAll except the first one are for XP... I don't think they're needed in 98se.
Fredledingue Posted June 21, 2006 Author Posted June 21, 2006 So why is Dependancy Walker 2.1 showing that the dll's installed on my PC needs them? What do you think (choose one)?*It could be a good idea to add them*It will have no effect whatsoever because they are XP dll*It could destabilize or slow down your system.*other
