can the x (exit) option from top right of window be removed/disabled ( _ [] X )

There is a shareware program that claims to be able to do this but it is not cheap and must (most probably) be running as a backround task to allow that :

I don't know of any freeware that does this nor of any registry tweak but both may exist.

i have some non-easy to do ideas of how to do it, but i would need to know what kind of program it is... also (i dont know if this is possible) you could try skinning with windowblinds and making a skin with no close button
