[Question] Software Raid through Computer Management

Hi I software raided my two SATA disks (on the nForce 4 controller) using computer management. I use it to store data. If I format my main hard drive will I need to do anything once I reinstall windows or will it pick up both hard drives as raid 0 automatically?

It will not be picked up automatically. And software RAID really isnt reliable. Use hardware if you want it done correctly.

yeah NEVER use software raid

if you've setup the raid array in the raid bios, then it'll be an array until you remove a drive or undo it using the raid bios, so formatting doesn't affect it

Ah well thx guys, I'll save the data elsewhere (not really ideal :() and put them on the nvraid.
