-I- Posted June 2, 2006 Posted June 2, 2006 Being not realy experienced, with 64-systems (yet), i ask. what kinds of software DO and witch do NOT benefit from x64. so in other words, wich programms are already avail, that truely benifit. i now have a 64bit DeerPark 2.6a (pre firefox 1.5 if im right), bu i think id either better build a 64bit (1.5.03/4 or 2.0a version, or install a 32bit version... so what else????
ripken204 Posted June 3, 2006 Posted June 3, 2006 well its not kinds of software. some companies have already made some 64bit programs/games and its there choice. otheres just dont care at this time.
-I- Posted June 4, 2006 Author Posted June 4, 2006 yeah i know but what i meant was. - what pieces of software, are there, for x64 - i mean like i stil haven't seen x64-builds of > Firefox 1.5.x or Thunderbird, > OpenOffice (wich even seams to be un-ready for porting).> *Any Media Player (neither WinMediaPlayer, no'r other).> i even havn't seen a Nero x64 version...
