streamlined hotfixes are not being recognized by windowsupdate.microso

Good afternoon,

We have a working unattended windows/office 2003/application install. The help from this forum has been invaluable.

Now here is my problem; I have downloaded all the latest Offoce 2003 hotfixes and streamlined them into my package. I have verified that they have in fact been installed by going back to officeupdate.microsoft.com and letting the site rescan for any missing hot fixes. It shows none required. (remember they are now streamlined)

This is a good thing.

When we try windowsupdate.microsoft.com (which now forwards you to http://update.microsoft.com/) the same strealmined updates show up as needing to be installed.

Is there a work around?

Did you uninstall your current office and install the one with slipstreamed updates?

It's a known bug with MU. That's actually the reason that I only slipstream SP2 in my Office 2003 installer. I install all the other patches separately afterwards.
