Good afternoon, We have a working unattended windows/office 2003/application install. The help from this forum has been invaluable. Now here is my problem; I have downloaded all the latest Offoce 2003 hotfixes and streamlined them into my package. I have verified that they have in fact been installed by going back to officeupdate.microsoft.com and letting the site rescan for any missing hot fixes. It shows none required. (remember they are now streamlined) This is a good thing. When we try windowsupdate.microsoft.com (which now forwards you to http://update.microsoft.com/) the same strealmined updates show up as needing to be installed. Is there a work around? The reason for the Autoexec and config is because we're trying ti install XP off a network drive. It goes something like this.... Boot the station connect and login to the network map a shared drive using an Nlite configured installer, install XP There have been a few problems ...booting the system with enough free memory ...XP install errors ...general mis-configurations (we fix 'em as we see 'em) clivebuckwheat has been doing a great job!
