[Question] Make USB Drives appear on desktop when plugged in (like OSX

Tried AveDesk, but that made the cd drives appear to when putting a cd in..

Well... a work around with AveDesk would be to manually assign a drive letter to your USB drive - let's say it's X:.

Now you make a PidlShortcut that points to X:. There's an option to hide the desklet when it's not connected.

Note - you'll have to disable the automounter addin to not get the CD drives to work.
