[Question] Enhanced delete error dialog?

When I try to delete a file that's open in another program, I just get an "access denied" error. But on my mom's computer it actually says what program is using it:

How do I enable this? I've never seen it before.

that does not look like a normal windows error pop up box, look over her installed programs, she may have a third party software installed that does this.

Like said, use unlocker, I'd recommend it!

Could be I just have not seen one that actually tells you what file is locking a file from being deleted, that is why they make little programs like unlocker, but I am not saying you are wrong, just that I have not seen a message like that one.

I've never seen it either. I don't have a problem with deleting files when this happens, but it'd really be nice if Windows would always tell me exactly which program has it open like that.

Thats a standard dialog added in sp2 i beleve. however (for me at least) it seems to only work at random...
