May 25, 200620 yr When I try to delete a file that's open in another program, I just get an "access denied" error. But on my mom's computer it actually says what program is using it:How do I enable this? I've never seen it before.
May 25, 200620 yr that does not look like a normal windows error pop up box, look over her installed programs, she may have a third party software installed that does this.
May 25, 200620 yr Like said, use unlocker, I'd recommend it!@firefoxthebomb That is a standard message. If windows can identify which program is using it, then it will display it.

May 25, 200620 yr Author I've never seen it either. I don't have a problem with deleting files when this happens, but it'd really be nice if Windows would always tell me exactly which program has it open like that.
