This connection may be using one or more protocols that do not support Plug-and-Play, or it may have been initiated by another user or the system account.---------------------------OK ---------------------------but the only protocol i'm using is tcp/ip. i've never heard of/seen this error before in my life (and i'm logged in as administrator, and don't even have any other accounts) Edited May 25, 2006 by Ophiel X

Ophiel X Posted May 25, 2006 Author Posted May 25, 2006 i got around it by disabling my ethernet card, but i wonder what devious software did this to me.my guess is either vmware or installshieldand thanks for the tip, i'll remember that for the future
