Thauzar
I'm trying to install a program (ACT!2005) that requires File and Print sharing must be enabled to install the software. The thing is that they ARE enabled, I do share files and printer on my network and I never disabled it. Now how can I make it believe it's ON even if it is actually ON. Is there a work around to force the installation without the minimum parameters required?.Thanks Edited May 21, 2006 by Thauzar
Mordac85
The Server service and Computer Browser service need to be running for your system to offer F&P services. Also, have you tried running the installer under the local admin account? I've run into some crappy logic checks that only worked when I was logged in as the local admin. One app kept telling me to log in w/an admin account even though I was an admin.
