playsafe
Hello all,I have some sytems connected through a switch. One system is abt 70 meters from switch I call this system as Network system. I had put another system along it.So I installed second LAN Card in the network system and through cross cable connected it to the newly put system. The problem is that the network system is able to see the all systems of the Network side. But does not show or ping to the newly put system.Whereas the newly put system can ping and access all the resources of directly connected system.Hope u get what i am trying to say.Regards,Yasir
IcemanND
sounds like a firewall issue, on the new system
GeneralMandible
Here is a link to a detailed article on how to setup ICS on 98SE. You must have 98SE, 98 doesn't support ICS.http://www.annoyances.org/exec/show/ics_98
playsafe
Thanks for replies.I have also tested it on windows98 without any firewalls. And the link u provided by GeneralMandible is abt ICS. But the problem I am facing is different. In other words can I bind the two LAN Cards on a system such that it can access resources and file sharings on both LAN cards at all times. In my case One Card is connected to a system with cross cable and second one connects to a DLink switch with straight cable.I have attached a diagram of wht i want to achieve.Regards,Yasir
