tal ormanda Posted May 14, 2006 Share Posted May 14, 2006 (edited) My Westell 6100 router blocks some of my anti spyware programs from updating anyway I can fix this?I know this because when I disconnect from the router and use a New connection you can make in Windows XP the updating works. Woomera Posted May 16, 2006 Share Posted May 16, 2006 im not an expert with routers but i think all you need is to monitor the traffic for your program during update when its working and get the ip or name and port of the server it connect to and add a rule for it in your router.isnt this how it works?
