WMP9 codec pack

I just formatted a laptop Toshiba Satellite 1800-712 http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/

and made new fresh installation of XP Home and i have instal every update i really don`t understand why i having seen WMP9 codec pack under the updates ? Please come with some answer soon because i have retur the laptop to my mother wednesday.

so u saying that u saw wmp9 codec on WU ?

anyhow i dont really understand waht u say but if u installed wmp 10 there is no need for that codec pack....
