Gaprofitt Posted May 14, 2006 Share Posted May 14, 2006 Can anyone recommend a low cost Helpdesk software. I have been given the task to find an affordable Helpdesk solution for our company. Currently we are using a custom designed Lotus Notes database and quite frankly it sucks. We only have a few requirements.Must be web basedMust use Active Directory accountsMust have escalation procedures. For example user requests to buy a laptop, manager receives an e-mail after the desktop tech requests approval, manager logs into system and approves requests.I have used Magic, Remedy, Vantive and a few others in the past, I don't consider them low cost options.
