puchika Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 The drivers for my Sony VAIO on the Sony website are not archives so I cannot unpack them to get to the files inside (like I can with my Thinkpad drivers). When I run the .EXE file, it does not ask you where I'd like to save the files. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get to the drivers?I've been using nLite and RyanM's integrator to make my XP CDs.TIA
dirtwarrior Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 You might be able to open them with a good archiving software, then add them to your next cd.

Glen Posted May 10, 2006 Posted May 10, 2006 Go to My Computer and type in %temp% while the drivers are being unpacked (this is just a shortcut to go to C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Temp) and look around for the files (they may possibly be a few folders deep).Generally, when programs don't allow you to specify where to extract the files to, they dump them somewhere in the temporary files.
