i386 in x64

Just a quick question:

I have a multiboot DVD with XP SP2 and XP X64. Can the files in i386 folder of x64 be placed in the SP2 i386 folder? I note that the x64 files are later versions and I was wondering if there would be any conflicts.

Well, considering that the i386 files from the x64 CD are 64bit binaries, and they're also from Server 2003 SP1's source tree, I'd say you're likely to have problems, yes.

...but you can try each file one by one, and report your results here : there may be some 32-bits binaries hidden
