ok i think i get what your getting at

ok games on xp 64 bit

i only played one game

CS:S it took about 5 mins for the game to rebuild or do something to get the game back to normal speed on the 64 bit OS but after that its ok

but took i reinstall 64 bit xp again now with the box has more memory i dont know how its goes on a lot of games

i may get 9 hrs free this weekend to do it .. dont know

I dunno when you last tried CS:S but HL2 has had a 64-bit version for awhile now, it gets updated automatically upon detection of your OS... Not sure if that makes all other Source engine games 64-bit, but HL2 is....

the lastest game i got board n installed is NFS MW

not sure if its the 512 mb of ram i added to the pc to push it upto 1024 mb or the OS being x64 but its runs a tab better and less time exiting the game

before it would take about 30 to a min ... depends on how long i have being playing the game , for windows to return to normal , the hdd light was on and locked on

personal still i dont know what is better

yep its still a hard one to work out
