Norton antivirus 2006

We bought the norton antivirus 2006 I install it to our laptop and register it.Registration was succesfuly a got may norton account for one year live update download.

After two days I must reinstall my PC ,I formatted Harddisc and install windows and otehr programs with this Norton Antivirus 2006.

And what is happened: If I start live update norton This program write that is not registered.

I heard that I must to ask for a new product key norton support.

Do you have somebody this problem?

What I must to do?

It may be because once you have registered you have effectivly signed on to that pc, the only way i can think of getting round this is to drop an email to Norton explian that you have restored your pc and get them to make your cd key useable again, i personally have Nod32 and have no problems if i reinstall or take it to another pc but i do have many licences.

throw norton in the trash.

i used norton i had purchased on an infected pc, it couldn't even delete the virus that it did find, i had to use a free trial version of another antivirus (which happened to work perfectly)
