Jello_for_president Posted July 11, 2003 Share Posted July 11, 2003 I just finished installing windows 2k3 server enterprise and i did the "How to convert your Windows Server 2003... to a Workstation" at http://www.MSFN.org/win2k3/. When i was done, my computer would not shut down, restart, or even let me log off. (i think it happened at the "themes" tab). PLEASE HELP Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Jello_for_president Posted July 11, 2003 Author Share Posted July 11, 2003 this is exactly what happens..when i go to start >shut down(or log off) i get a window asking what i want to do, i click shut down (or any other choice) and it just takes me back to my desktop...i looked in the event viewer and in the applications tab there were 2 warning icons that the source was "WinMgmt", both occuring at the same time. There was nothing out of place in security, and in system there is a warning that the source was "Dhcp", 2 error icons that the source was "event log", and a warning with the source as "print", i hope that helps Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
