will someone please help me

this is exactly what happens..when i go to start >shut down(or log off) i get a window asking what i want to do, i click shut down (or any other choice) and it just takes me back to my desktop...i looked in the event viewer and in the applications tab there were 2 warning icons that the source was "WinMgmt", both occuring at the same time. There was nothing out of place in security, and in system there is a warning that the source was "Dhcp", 2 error icons that the source was "event log", and a warning with the source as "print", i hope that helps

I just finished installing windows 2k3 server enterprise and i did the "How to convert your Windows Server 2003... to a Workstation" at http://www.MSFN.org/win2k3/. When i was done, my computer would not shut down, restart, or even let me log off. (i think it happened at the "themes" tab). PLEASE HELP
