]Pai_Natal[ Posted July 10, 2003 Share Posted July 10, 2003 I have windows 2000 Prof with the SP3 and when i want to shutdown the computer he don't shutdown... appears a screen with this: "shutting down windows..." And stay like that! I think to solve the problem it's on the BIOS section... But i really don't know what to do... For me don't cause any problem it's just for make it really 100% working...(I'm sorry if my english is very bad but i don't practice for a couple of years! ) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've never had any issues with it before, but have a look in your ACPI section in the BIOS for anything unusual, and have a look in the Power Options via Control Panel in Windows as well.
