[Question] Framework 1.1 + 2.0?

Is Framework 2.0 supposed to replace 1.1??

Because a program I use (Sony Soundforge 8) is telling me I need Framework 1.1, even though I have Framework 2.0 installed

But seriously, the fact that Windows Update still wants both installed in indication enough for me that both are still needed.

Many programs need Framework 1.1 even if 2.0 is installed, because Framework 2.0 is diferent from Framework 1.1 and it's not suposed to replace it.
