Hi

im heather

aka Electricity

if anyone can assist me i woud apreciate it very much

i seem to have gotten the install disk done but some of the paths were incorrect

and some programs failed to be installed.i woud like to start from scratch re doing the

Structure of Windows Post Install

very confusing as to where to put each folder as all my install programs are on a dvd called install

whch is the root of drive

%cdrom%/install

i also have the folder

like this

thank you in advance

XP-WPI/$OEM$/$$/fonts/inf/media/system32/web

the contents of system32 have all the essential files mentioned in the manual

i also notice some peopel leave the wpi.cmd in not only the system32 folder but also in the root of the dvd

is there a reason for this.

anyways if anyone could help id appreciate it

thank you

Hello

Welcome to msfn !

If i understood well, you want some explains for "how to use WPI" ?

The homepage of WPI

http://www.wpiw.net/

And this "tiny" forum where you can find all as you want, finally almost !!

http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showforum=93

So, you have this topic, which explains the content of "WPI.CMD"

http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?act=ST&f=93&t=70360

Welcome to MSFN.

Asking questions here is not a good idea. I suggest you post your questions/problems on the appropriate forum.

Before you do, consider reading the rules (link on my sig).

Once again, welcome to MSFN. Enjoy ;)
