Hello

Im trying to make an unattended install of winxp home. I ran nlite, and saved the files to C:\XPCD.

And then I burned the files in C:\XPCD to an cd. When I boot with my new winxp-cd the pc dont jump

into the windows install, it seems to dont accept the cd or dont notice its inside. Xp keep booting like the

cd is not there.

What could I have done wrong?

(yes, cd-rom is sat as 1.boot device)

PS! When I boot with my original xp-cd, the pc jumps into the windows install.

Sounds like the CD isn't bootable. Consider making your XP cd with nlite, and then using another method to make it bootable. I prefer the method found at the link below, but there are many ways to accomplish this.

You might also want to check your BIOS settings to ensure you're able to boot from the CD before the hard drive. Many manufacturer's are shipping their systems w/the boot order set to floppy first, then the hard drive, and the CD last.
