Doctor Trout Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Hey guys,The way I see it, dllcache simply stores copies off all the files in Windows SFC, and, since I disable SFC, dllcache is redundant. I always delete the contents after I've installed Windows on my computers anyway. However, I was wondering, is there a way to stop Windows populating the dllcache folder with all the files when it installs Windows? I don't see any option in nLite anywhere...Cheers.
aspenjim Posted April 8, 2006 Posted April 8, 2006 Type sfc /cachesize=0 first and then reboot and type sfc/purgecache in the run box
