catman915 Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I've noticed a number of .cab files like (RogueSpearAddonsDAEMONTools_3.47.cab) in the forum but haven't found info about incorporating them in an install. Would appreciate any assistance in finding out how to use them. I tried adding them to the SVCPACK folder in I386 example; (1386\svcpack\RogueSpearAddonsDAEMONTools_3.47.cab) but they were ignored. Thanks
boooggy Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 the .cab addons are made to be integrated with Nlite, adding them as hotfixes.
MHz Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Add an entry into SvcPack.inf, I would guess http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/24/
shooter468 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 or you could use RVM Integrator to integrate the addons
catman915 Posted April 6, 2006 Author Posted April 6, 2006 If I have created an AU3 that works from RunOnce can I convert it to a .cab and integrate as suggested above?
RogueSpear Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 For the moment, the .cab addons are really only designed for slipstream integration or integrating installers for use with svcpack.inf.
