net_user Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 (edited) ok...now this is freakin weird....but i'm kinda stumpt....when ever i want to use notepad....i click on start\run and type in "notepad" and hit enter...now it's asking me for a program to open it with...any clues? IcemanND Posted March 31, 2006 Posted March 31, 2006 look in your profile folder (%userprofile%), I'll bet you have a file named notepad with no extension, or an unknown extension. Delete it and try again.
