cycleman
When on desktop - and I want to mail something - I right click on it, click "send to", click "mail recipient" NOW the mail program Thunderbird opens up. It is NOT my default mail program and I do not want to use it anymore (although I have to keep it since it has mail messages I want to keep, and I can not figure out how to export them - program only seems to have import).I want Outlook Express to open up, which I have as my default. Anyone able to help me?
CptMurphy
Push F1 in thunderbird and search for "default mail". It'll give u a how-to.
cycleman
F1 does nothing. Thunderbird has a help BUT that is not my problemThunderbird is NOT nor do I want it to be my default.Let's say I have a letter saved on my desktop that I want to email to someone.I right click on the letter -then click on "send to", then click on "mail receipient"NOW the Thunderbird email program opens up. I do NOT want Thunderbird to open,I want Outlook Express to open to send the letter from. I figure there must be some place that I can set for Outlook Express to open when I click on "mail receipient"I do have outlook express set as my default mailer. I am using XP pro.
