Autoplay media studio boot question...

I created a simple autorun.exe to install either XP Pro or server 2003. I used a generic boot img and cdimage. When i boot the cd i get a cdboot:couldn't find NTLDR. How do I make a boot img or whatever to actually boot the cd to the autorun.exe to install the OS....

thanks!!

It should create a autorun.INF file that will tell the CD to boot up in GUI.

That same autorun.inf file would be found in alot of original software CD's

Autoplay media stupio is used to make Autorun menus that work within windows. It sounds like you are trying to make a bootmenu that loads when u boot from the cd at startup. If this is the case you will want to get a copy of EasyBoot

Ok Easyboot is exactly what i was looking for but I was hoping for something a little more flexible anyother programs that would accomplish the samething?

Thanks Scubasteve!!!

I played with cd shell last night but it gave me an error saying the file was larger than 64k.....is there a way to bypass this limit?

cdshell -> autorun.exe

Are you actually trying to launch setup.exe at the boot menu? :no::no: . I know this will never work, as setup.exe is built for a GUI environment, try this:

if $lastKey == key[p]; then chain /XPRO.DAT
