Please go to the MSN Messenger Web site and download the software from there." What does that mean???/ What do i do now???/how can i get messenger 6?????yap! i downloaded for xp...

regina Posted July 27, 2003 Author Posted July 27, 2003 i solved my own problem =PTo fix the 1601 error do this:1. Click START, and then click RUN.2. In the OPEN box, Type msiexec /unreg, and then click OK3. When this process is complete, click START, and then click RUN.4. In the OPEN box, type msiexec /regserver, and then click OK.5. Now install MSN 6.
