BigDaddy
Is it possible that I could set WIn2k3 that it would cache websites. Some sort of PROXY. So the client computers would retrieve already visited WEB SITES from WIN2k3 server's cache?
jftuga
You can use Microsoft ISA server to do this, but this is a bit pricey. You can also use a freeware program called Squid. This works great, but is more complicated to get & and running as there is no GUI.http://www.acmeconsulting.it/SquidNT/download.htmlhttp://kb.papercutsoftware.com/Main/Instal...ingSquidNTProxy-John

cluberti
If you want to have a primary, localized internet cache that all clients will hit, you will need your clients to go through a proxy - any proxy that caches will work here, such as Squid on *nix or ISA on Windows. Do a google search for caching proxy if you want other alternatives - I'm sure there are a lot out there.
